Hello, I'm Caroline Voaden.

I am campaigning to be your MP in South Devon. 
With your help, I want to raise £10,000 to support my campaign.

I am fundraising because elections are expensive. We read every day about the massive "donations for favours" given to the Conservatives. The Liberal Democrats do not receive donations like this, so I am building my election fund with the help of my supporters to be ready whenever the election is called, which could be as early as May. 

Our constituency has nearly 70,000 voters in 39,000 houses - that's a lot of doors to knock on! We want to ensure we reach as many people as possible.

With your donations, we will be able to 

• Coordinate teams of brilliant volunteers.
• Drive home our message of change with our campaign literature.
• Build a solid digital campaign to reach all voters, particularly the younger and disenfranchised voters. 
• Fund our HQ office in Totnes and satellite office in Brixham.
• Fund the campaign team working hard in the background to help get me elected as your next MP.

I'm standing because, like you, I don't want to be represented by a Conservative MP in Westminster for a minute longer. 

We need MPs who understand the challenges people are facing, and will speak up in particular for those who live with deep deprivation. 

We need MPs who care about the climate crisis and want to make the serious changes needed to give us the best chance of addressing it.  

We need more MPs who have a wealth of life and career experience in the 'real world' to bring into parliament. 

More about me

I'm very proud to have lived in this constituency since 2007. I'm the daughter of a social worker and a climate scientist. I was a journalist with Reuters for 10 years, the CEO of Devon Rape Crisis and I was a member of the European Parliament. In 2019, the Liberal Democrats elected me to be their leader in Europe.

I'm stepping up because I want to help change the political narrative and lead a movement that will end a century of conservative MPs here in South Devon.
