Unpaid Carer Cafes

Aim: Our Carer Cafes provide a warm, friendly supportive space for all unpaid carers in the area. Here they can socialise and build connections.

Who are we?

Carer Support Wiltshire is a registered charity helping all unpaid carers in Wiltshire and Dorset. We provide services, support, education, training, food vouchers and respite breaks from their caring roles. We work with other health and social care professionals to raise awareness of the practical and mental health struggles faced by carers and endeavour to reduce loneliness and isolation.

Community impact

At CSW we aim to foster 'carer friendly communities'. Recognising the work carers do and how vital it is that they are supported.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We run carer cafes all over the county. All need funds to help keep them running with staff and volunteers, activities, training materials and other handouts, guest speakers and refreshments. Where care cover or transport required we do what we can to make sure carers can get there. It is so important for them to feel a part of something and to have the opportunity for peer to peer support.

How we’ll spend the money raised

It’s important to be transparent about how you plan to spend the money you raise. Your audience will be more likely to make a pledge if they can see how their donation will help.
