Aim

Offers support to people, particularly supportive of providing relevant opportunities for disabled people and other disadvantaged groups.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We’re back for round two! On 18th January 2026, James and I will be taking on the Four Villages Half Marathon in Cheshire — and this time, we’re coming for our personal bests!

Last year, we ran it not quite in peak form (James: 1h55, me: 2h10), but this year we’re determined to smash those times. James is aiming for 1h45, and I’m chasing that elusive sub-2-hour finish 🤞🏽

But this isn’t just about the run. This year, we’re fundraising for Greenbank, a cause incredibly close to our hearts. This amazing charity provides life-changing support, care, and opportunities for disabled children and young people.

A little about Greenbank:

Vision: Transforming lives through challenging perceptions and inspirng self-belief

Mission: Supporting people to achieve their potential through inclusive education, sport and leisure activities

Greenbank's values and belief:

1. Inclusivity - Providing opportunity for everyone.

2. Recognising Potential - Raising aspirations to improve life.

3. Excellence - Strive for excellence in all they do.

4. Collaboration - Open to new ideas and sharing of knowledge

Recently, Greenbank have raised funds for a new sports hall to support inclusive sport, exercise and wellbeing. The types of opportunities this one space can create is limitless.

Our inspiration? Nathan Maguire — he’s gone on to become a Paralympic athlete, competing nationally and internationally (alongside his equally incredible wife, Hannah CockCockroft). Their journey is a testament to what’s possible with the right support — the kind this charity helps provide every day.

Without organisations like this, too many young people are left facing challenges they should never have to face alone.

👉🏽 Please donate if you can — every pound makes a difference.
Your support will help more children access the care, equipment, and opportunities they need to thrive. Whether it’s £2 or £20, it all adds up and means the world to us.

Thank you so much for your support ❤️

Lots of love Cara and James x
