To make a feature film based on our script ‘Captain’

Free Fire Productions is film production company comprised of directors & writers Ben Poppy & Kory Séan Williams 

In 2019, we had set out to make what became our first film - Prey. Prey started as a Play written by Ben Poppy but just as we had found a theatre and a cast the pandemic hit, which caused us to reevaluate things and more time to turn the Play into a movie.

Prey is about a man’s life that is in danger when a mysterious stranger comes knocking at his door.

Prey was quite successful during its film festival run in 2022

Winning Best Short Film at The Indie Online Film Awards and was nominated for many others - including nominations for Best Black & White Film at The Indie Online Film Awards, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor & Best Cinematography at The Monkey Bread Tree Film Awards and Best Short Film at UK Film Review Festival.

We hope to bring our feature film script ‘Captain’ to life.
