Aim
Please help by donating to my campaign fighting fund. Let's save our way of life in North Cornwall together.
The mission
Cornwall is, I believe is changing for the worst - public services are getting worse whilst our cost of living continues to rise. As a previous Conservative member I felt abandoned and no longer recognise the Conservative Party that I've supported for decades. Therefore I chose to stand for Reform UK to represent others that have also been left politically homeless.
In general I agree with most of Reform's initial policies that go against what seem to be now the current nanny state and a two party system that is in complete unison on policies. There is now very little difference between the main parties. It is time for the silent, abandoned majority to speak once again. We will have our voices heard in the 2024 General Election.
Both Reform UK and I believe that you are best placed to make wealth and health decisions for you and your family - i.e. not any government or council.
My commitments to North Cornwall are as follows:
- Deal with the cost of living crisis by making work pay. Raise the minimum tax threshold to £20,000.
- Implement Brexit properly that the conservatives promised but betrayed us on, which includes fishing rights in OUR seas.
- Education should be academic and skills focused, replace PSHE with life skills.
- Despite Cornwall voting against the devolution plan now we have it Cornwall should decide where allocation of central government funds go where we most need it. Transport links, dentists, new hospital's, encouraging and funding local school leavers to train in healthcare in return they have to work a minimum of 5 years in Cornwall and won't incur any student loans. We have to manage our own budget locally.
- Demand the council overhaul their housing policy to work effectively, the current system is not working for local people.
- Create legislation to cap utility companies profit such as bring SouthWest Water to account on sewage regarding our beaches and water quality. People before profits. Working towards having a debate on the nationalisation of public utilities.
- Support Cornish Farmers enabling funding for farmers to sell direct to the public by way of farm shops so they get the money they deserve. Preserve farming land and end net zero quotas. Reduce imports, buy and grow local.
- Protect our national borders by diverting illegal migrants to off shore processing centres or send them back to France (if that is where they came from).

The challenges
Winning is this seat is possible in North Cornwall - we already have a lot of support from a broad range of voters including many disenfranchised voters that have been let down by broken promises from the main parties in the area being Conservatives, Lib Dems, Labour and Greens who seem not to be working in the best interests of Cornwall and tax payers.
Unlike main parties with almost unlimited campaign budget and resources, at constituency level we are pretty much on our own financially speaking. To get the word out as a new candidate i need your help directly.

Please help me get elected and I can promise that this is the message that I will deliver on your behalf at every opportunity.
As a professional with an already successful career, I have no aspirations to become a career politician but i am here because i am fed up as to where this country is heading. I may be the only candidate in the area that can take this position on what i believe in, i will speak out for those that agree with me on what needs to be done.
