Terms & Conditions - FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL X CAMP BESTIVAL TICKETS PRIZE DRAW
Win Camp Bestival Tickets and support FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL in our summer fundraising Prize Draw!
1) By entering this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2) The promoter is FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL, a registered charity in England and Wales 1206738. Registered address: SYMONDSBURY CHURCH OF ENGLAND VA PRIMARY SCHOOL, SYMONDSBURY, DORSET, DT6 6HD. SYMONDSBURY CHURCH OF ENGLAND VA PRIMARY SCHOOL IS A SEPARATE ENTITY TO THE FRIENDS OF SYMONSBURY SCHOOL AND IS NOT THE PROMOTER OF THIS COMPETITION.
Eligibility
3) Entry is permitted from the UK only.
4) Anyone entering the prize draw accepts that in the event that they win a Prize, they are responsible for their own travel to and from the event (and that of their Guests), including complying with any visa requirements.
5) Entrants must be 18-years of age or over at the time of entering the prize draw.
Entry Requirements and Entry Period
6) Paid entry to the prize draw is available via Crowdfunder. Each entry will cost £5 and the draw can be entered multiple times.
7) For free entry by post to the prize draw, see points 29-32 below
8) The prize draw opens at 12:45 on 13 JUNE 2024 and closes at 17:00 on 24th June 2024 (the ‘Entry Period’). Any postal entries received after the Entry Period will not be accepted.
9) FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL is not responsible for any delays in postal delivery by Royal Mail.
The Draw and The Prize Winners
10) The draw will take place on 24th June 2024 (the ‘Draw Date’)
11) Once the Entry Period is closed, each individual valid entry will be entered into the draw. Both paid for and free entry is recognized equally in the draw.
12) On the Draw Date the administrator of the draw (FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL) will use a random number generator to select ONE Prize winner from the valid entries.
13) Multiple entries per person are permitted, but only one Prize per person will be given. For the avoidance of doubt, each entrant will only be entitled to one prize.
14) The Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or email on the Draw Date. It is the Prize winners responsibility to check all inboxes, including junk and spam folders, and FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL will not be held responsible for emails not being seen by the Prize winners.
15) In the event that a Prize winner does not make contact with FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL to claim their Prize within 48 HOURS of the Draw Date, or is disqualified from the draw, FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL will re-draw an alternative winner using the same method as in points 11-14 above.
16) FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL’s decision as to the Prize winners is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Prize
17) The Prize is as follows:
x2 Adult Weekend Camping tickets to Camp Bestival Dorset 2024
Up to x4 Child (Age 0-17) Weekend Camping tickets to Camp Bestival Dorset 2024
18) This prize is strictly only available via the FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL summer activity and raffle
19) The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
20) All Prizes will be personalised to the named winner and their Guests.
21) Tickets will be sent to the winner via email from Camp Bestival and their official ticket agent.
22) The winner will be required to verify their age in order to gain access to their Prize as entrants must be 18-years of age or over at the time of entering the prize draw.
23) The winner will be required to verify their identity as the named ticket holder in order to gain access to the event.
24) Tickets will be sent to the winner at least two weeks before the event.
25) The winner and their Guests must arrive at the event together.
26) Winners and their Guests must not be intoxicated at the point of redeeming their festival experience.
27) Entry to the festival is subject to the full Camp Bestival Ticket Terms and Conditions of Entry.
28) The receipt by the winning entrant of any of the Prizes is conditional upon the winning entrant’s compliance with these rules. Winning entrants may be required to provide a written acknowledgement of these rules and other terms and conditions, consents or releases relating to the Prizes.
Postal Entry
29) Postal entrants may enter the promotion for free:
by mailing their full name and email address, to the following postal address:

b) by sending an entry within an envelope. Entries received other than in an envelope will not be accepted.
30) In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope, only one entry will be entered into the draw.
31) Entries sent by post;
a) must be received at the relevant postal address specified for entries by the end of the Entry Period as specified.
32) Personal and hand delivered entries will not be accepted.
General
33) FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the winner(s) if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Neither shall FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL be liable to the winner(s) for any loss or damage suffered in connection with this prize draw and/or the Prize, save in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence or fraud of FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL.
34) FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL reserves the right to make any reasonable amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on the main page. FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL also reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
35) Entrants may be required to participate in publicity without further consent or payment, such publicity including without limitation the entrant’s name, entry or any information provided by the entrant, including photographs and videos. This information may be used by FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL in any and all media, including but not limited to FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL’S social media platforms.
36) Any personal information collected by FRIENDS OF SYMONDSBURY SCHOOL in connection with a prize draw will be used in accordance with UK CHARITY COMMISSION GDPR GUIDANCE
37) This prize draw and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising therefrom.
