We are developing technology to make CO2 capture profitable.
CCC Ltd's CO2LOC technology has been developed in collaboration with Cambridge University and has generated a great deal of interest from industry and governments. However, we need to demonstrate the technology working at scale before industry will invest in developing it to commercialisation.
We have a great deal of further R&D to undertake and this takes investment. We are not an attractive investment to the investment community as we need to work at a very large scale this costs a lot of money and it is unlikely that we will be making a profit for many years. This technology is vital to the future of life on earth. We need the public to get behind us to encourage corporates, heavy industry and governments to support the development of our technology.
We aim to create a carbon token which will be uniquely numbered and supported by a blockchain. It is intended that these tokens will be purchased by CSR departments of corporate sponsors of our technology. Eventually new tokens will be created by the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere and these tokens will become tradeable currency. In this way we can incentivies reductions in CO2 levels in the atmosphere and improve the environment by making money - (literally).
