Aim

Our aim is to raise funds to repair the extensive damage caused by a major break-in at our bandroom on 29 August 2026

Help Camborne Brass Recover from a Serious Break-In

It is with great sadness that we are asking for your help following a serious break-in at our bandroom on 29 August.

The police contacted our Bandmaster, Alan Pope BEM, after discovering that the bandroom had been broken into. Windows were smashed to gain entry, and the building and its contents were extensively damaged. It was a truly distressing sight for our members and those involved with the band.

The photographs below show some of the damage caused during the break-in.

Substantial repairs are now required, alongside improvements to the security of the building, to help prevent an incident like this from happening again and to ensure our bandroom remains a safe and welcoming space for our banding community.

Our members have been deeply affected by what has happened, particularly our young Beginners Group, which we have been working hard to develop. Our band is committed to providing opportunities for people of all ages to discover brass music, develop their skills and become part of the wider banding community.

We would be extremely grateful for any support you can give. Every donation, however large or small, will help us repair the damage, improve the security of our bandroom and continue the work we do within our community.

Please help us get Camborne Brass back to doing what we love — bringing brass music to our community, so the band can play on.

Thank you for your support.
