Our vision started 3 years ago when we realised that logistically we could no longer continue with the growth of football within our community. We applied and were successful in getting on the Investment Ready Program run by the Football Foundation and our road to the provision of an all weather grass pitch (AGP) began.
Along the way we realised that our existing 5 a side court, which requires renovation would become redundant and derelict. Through our community engagement we realised there was scope to redevelop the court into a Multi Use Games Area.
Game on!! and, here we are:

The majority of the funding is now in place. Following an offer from the Sport England Movement fund of £12,000 we now need to match fund that amount through our crowdfunding page to ensure we raise the final £24,000 to facilitate the redevelopment of our existing 5 a side court to enable further opportunities through sport, within our community. Please note the amount we need to raise has been updated to reflect the £12,000 pledged from Sport England.
Your help is needed to help us achieve our goal.
Inclusive players - Quotes from some of our players and parents about football and other sports on the MUGA will open up to our Inclusive section for example Boccia, a game of control, focus and accuracy.
Quote 1. "Ever since I was a young boy I've been playing and I have loved every single bit of this club, from the coaching staff to the parents to the players you are all amazing people and I'm grateful for everyone who has helped me through my darkest times and thankful for the good times too. If I've had a hard time during the day the club has made me feel good again"
Quote 2 "It is really good it is great you can play from a young boy to an adult, I learn great skills, meet new people and build friendships. It is great being part of a team. The 3g pitch would give us more space to practice which would be epic"
The introduction of a MUGA would open inclusive players to trying new sports, new skills and more enjoyment.
Please help us achieve our goal!
Quote from one of our Under 16 Girls
I have played for Arnold Eagles since I was 9, its great to see so many girls playing football on a Sunday at Calverton and I can't wait to play on the new pitch. I also play netball and a new multi use games area at Calverton would give us somewhere for people to try lots of other sports to keep fit.
But its not just about football its about our physical and mental health 💕
Please help us beat this last hurdle.
