Call of the Wild Festival - Pay It Forward!

Aim

COVID-19 has created a very uncertain landscape for independent music festivals & we are looking at additional ways to secure our future

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for  millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. Together we can help them. 

Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date. We have a great selection of ideas that will equally reward you, our loyal supporters,  as well as boost our cash flow during a period in which ticket sales more or less stopped, we have worked incredibly hard to put contingency plans in place so we can still bring a great festival to you in September! 

Setting up a three day - three stage outdoor festival was always going to be a monumental challenge, and while we were prepared for the financial risks as we began to build our festival with longevity in mind, with a community at its heart, nobody anticipated a global pandemic coming along and bringing the World to a standstill.  

The easy option would have been to cancel the event, take the financial loss, lick our wounds and say damn, we did one great festival! 

But no, event organisers; Dave O Hara, Lee Byrne & Raz White have developed a reputation, not only for great shows & events but for digging in, putting in that monumental effort that is required to always find a way.

When your festival gets shortlisted as Best New Festival at the UK Festival Awards 2019 (we'd like to think we came a close 2nd) the support of the Call of The Wild Community has kept us pushing forward, you will understand why our only thought is what will it take to get this on in September?

We were very proud to honour refunds to those who could not make the newly rescheduled date but this of course set us back a few months. We were heading towards a break even second year (almost unknown in the festival industry) & felt incredibly positive about hitting our year 3 targets. 

While we feel incredibly lucky to be able to host an event this year, we really want to get back on track and hit those targets for year 3. So, this is where you can help us in the future by pledging right now.
