ABOUT THE SHOW:

Heartbreak. Hypocrisy. Hamsters. Julia and Dan's marriage is on the rocks. Well, more than on the rocks. They're getting divorced. Amicably. For now. But when their lawyers step in, tensions and temperatures rise to breaking point. A dark comedy that delves into the complicated dynamics of a young marriage dashed by betrayal... and paperwork. With the lawyers holding a microscope to their relationship, boundaries are crossed and hidden characteristics are revealed. How well do you know the person sleeping next to you and does their lawyer know them better?

and I am currently directing the musical 'Dogfight,' set to debut in May 2024! I am so excited to bring "Bye Bye Baby" to Edinburgh Fringe this year as it will be my first time attending Fringe!

SEAMUS - I am an actor, director, and writer! My training has encompassed the National Youth Theatre, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the University of Exeter. My recent work includes playing The Bastard in Shakespeare’s ‘King John’ (February 2024), directing an adaptation of Stoppard’s ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead’ (March 2024) and will soon be playing John Proctor in Miller’s ‘The Crucible’ (June 2024). This will be my first time performing at the Edinburgh Fringe and I cannot wait to be there and tell this painful, funny and beautiful story!

CLEMENTINE -  I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you as I embark on an exciting new journey to the fringe! My acting training includes studying at the esteemed National Youth Theatre and Mountview Academy of Arts to currently delving deeper into my passion for theatre at Queen Mary University in London, where I'm studying English and Drama. This year marks my first time attending the Fringe, and I couldn't be more excited! Recently I’ve taken part in the world of film through several short film projects, but it's the live theatre that truly speaks to my soul. I've always been fascinated by the intricacies of divorce law, especially in light of recent changes in no-fault legislation. And now, I'm merging that fascination with my love for theatre in our play Bye Bye Baby!

POPPY - I am an actor, writer, director and amateur kazooist from the UK. A graduate of of the University of East Anglia’s prestigious English and Creative Writing course, I have performed in a number of plays, most recently as Victoria in a production of Noel Coward’s ‘Tonight at 8:30’. When not muttering to myself in a variety of accents, I can be found writing scripts, sketches and teaching creative writing courses online. I have also been hired as a ghost-writer for both film treatments and a novelisation for a film which is currently in pre-production. In addition to writing, I have also created a number of short films and have received a filmmaking diploma from the New York Film Academy.

This is my first time performing at the Edinburgh Fringe and I am very excited to share this play with my adoring fans.

Taking this show is a dream come to to all of us and thank you so much for your support in helping us get to Edinburgh.
