Donate Cllr Pauls Truck To Ukrainian Medical Team!

Aim

To buy Cllr Paul's truck and donate it to a Ukrainian medic team so it can be used as a mobile medical centre to help injured Ukrainians.

Since 2022, Cllr Paul’s truck has been a vital asset to the Vans Without Borders team, helping move dozens of tonnes of aid across Britain and into Ukraine. As the need on the Ukrainian frontline has grown, we believe the truck can have an even greater impact if converted into a mobile medical facility.

Although Cllr Paul originally purchased the truck with his own funds for over £14,000, he has generously offered us a significant discount so that we can acquire it and donate it for use in Ukraine.

We are now asking our supporters to give what they can to help ensure this vehicle continues making a meaningful difference for those in need.

We are incredibly proud of the role Cllr Paul’s truck has played. It allowed us to significantly expand our aid operations at the start of the war, delivering large volumes of bulky supplies for distribution across Ukraine. It also transported substantial quantities of food to cities such as Kharkiv during periods of intense siege by Russian forces. On one occasion, it was even used to carry sandbags to help reinforce a school against drone attacks.

More recently, the truck has supported our operations within Britain, helping us collect and transport aid to our distribution centre so we can ship large consignments directly to our humanitarian partners in Ukraine.

While this marks the end of one chapter for Cllr Paul’s truck, it also marks the beginning of another. We are proud to be able to support Ukrainian medics through this initiative, and any surplus funds raised will go towards continuing our large-scale aid shipments to Ukraine.
