Buy a neurodivergent nurse a specialist support session. We aim raise £2,500 to fund sessions for 25 nurses by 7th June 2026.
Look after the people who look after us.
You can help to raise funds for a nurse or health and social care worker to access a specialist neurodivergent support session.
Neurodivergent nurses and healthcare professionals support thousands of patients every day, yet many struggle to access the support they need themselves due to cuts in budgets and chronic waiting times for schemes like Access to Work.
For nearly 20 years, Diverse Learners has provided specialist neurodivergent support to professionals working across health and social care. Our work helps individuals to:
Build confidence and self-esteemThese sessions are designed to support neurodivergent people in health and social care settings thrive in challenging environments whilst protecting their wellbeing.

Our goal is to make specialist neurodivergent support accessible to more people working in caring professions.

Regular contributions would allow us to:
Expand support provision to those currently unable to access it
Provide additional 1:1 specialist support sessions to the nurses we've started supporting via this campaign

Every contribution will help us support more healthcare professionals over time.
The rate of Neurodivergence in nurses is much higher than that of the general population therefore, there are a lot of neurodivergent nurses to support (Wray et al 2008, 2009, 2012, 2017).
Neurodivergent nurses support thousands of patients every day but often struggle to access the specialist support they need to look after themselves due to cuts in NHS budgets, reduction of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion teams and very long waiting times for Access to Work.
Our founder Kerry is passionate about supporting neurodivergent nurses, over the years, Kerry and the Diverse Learners team have provided extensive free guidance and support to 100's of individuals, families, employers and organisations.
This has included:
Free advice and guidance sessions
Informal support to professionals and parents
Free training events for organisations and professional groups
Delivering no cost training to The Open University Disabled Students' Group, North West NHS Dyslexia Network, the Dyspraxia Foundation, NHS fab Ambassadors and more.
The demand for specialist support continues to grow, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to meet this demand without sustainable funding.
This initiative aims to help increase access to specialist support while ensuring the work can continue sustainably.
All sessions will be delivered by Kerry Pace and the Diverse Learners specialist team, who have many years of experience supporting neurodivergent professionals in healthcare, education and workplace environments.
Together we can help ensure the people who care for others receive the support they deserve.
