Our Vision

Our vision is to transform the landscape for entrepreneurial parents by advocating for legislative changes that provide better support and infrastructure. We believe that parents, especially women, should not have to choose between their entrepreneurial dreams and their family responsibilities. By creating a robust campaign, we aim to highlight the need for supportive measures and push for policy changes that will benefit all parents.

How Your Contribution Will Make a Difference

The funds we raise through this campaign will be used to:

Develop and Launch Our Campaign (approx. £4k per month required): We have crafted a comprehensive campaign to raise awareness and advocate for legislative changes. This includes marketing, outreach, and advocacy strategies to ensure our message reaches the right audiences.

Westminster Station Takeover (approx. £80k required): We plan to launch a high-visibility campaign at Westminster station to capture the attention of policymakers and the public, bringing our cause to the forefront of national discussion.

Host Round-tables with Politicians (approx. £10k required): We will organise and facilitate round-table discussions with key politicians to directly address the needs of entrepreneurial parents and advocate for specific legislative changes.

Create Video Content (approx. £50k-£80k required): We want to be sharing the stories of female entrepreneurs and highlighting the problems being faced, and getting these seen as far and wide as possible. Our goal is to create a documentary on this topic and campaign.

Advertising Costs (approx. £25k required): We need funds to get our campaign seen by as many people as possible to raise as much attention for it, which can be done through targeted and strategic traditional and digital advertising.

Conference for Female Business Owners with Babies (approx. £30k required): Your contributions will help us host a conference that brings together female entrepreneurs who are also mothers, providing them with a platform to share their experiences, network, and discuss the changes needed to support them better.

Produce a Podcast (approx. £15k required): We will create a podcast series featuring stories from entrepreneurial parents, expert interviews, and discussions on policy changes, aiming to educate and inspire our audience.

PR Exposure (approx. £20k required): We intend to create conversation in all the mainstream and independent press on this topic through utilising a PR consultant, the efforts of our campaign, and Grace's own network.

Website Maintenance (approx. £2k required): We have created our website - www.businessandbabies.co.uk - but this will need to be continually managed in order to add as many stories and insights as possible for entrepreneurs.
