We're aiming to raise money to offset the income lost due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Sport England have kindly agreed to match 50% (£10k)!
Shepherds Bush Cricket Club (SBCC) is an English Cricket Board (ECB) / Clubmark accredited club and a registered charity. We are a hub for sport in the local community, home to a thriving junior’s cricket section with over 200 girls and boys aged 6-15. Our volunteer cricket coaches play a key role in local children’s development through sport. We are proud to welcome children (and adults) from a diverse range of backgrounds and ethnicities.
In 2021 we are forming a women's cricket team for the first time, building on the success of girl's cricket at the club, with membership expected to be 30 juniors this year, up from 25 last year.
The club also works with primary schools in the London boroughs of Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham to deliver cricket coaching, and we also host junior football matches during the winter.
SBCC also has four Saturday adult cricket teams and a Sunday team, with over 65 senior playing members. These teams compete in the Middlesex County Cricket League: the first and second teams are well established in their respective premier leagues

Our members and the wider community benefit from a number of initiatives at the club, including...

With our facilities and bar being closed for most of 2020 the club has lost revenue of £25,700. This loss of income was due to reductions in members subscriptions, takings on the bar, and ground & venue hire.
While we've been fortunate to receive grants and generous donations from members past and present, this hasn't been enough to offset the loss.
We are facing not being able to fund vital projects needed to support the continued growth of the club, including:

Please make a donation or "buy" any of our rewards on offer. By doing so we will receive 50% matched funding (£10k!) from Sport England in order to help us bounce back from COVID-19. With your help we can continue to ensure that SBCC offers high quality cricket facilities in the community.
Thanks for your support!
