We carry out various fundraising activities throughout the school year, to raise funds for the school and also as social events to enhance the school community. Events include quiz, summer fair, social evenings, Christmas fair, bonfire. The whole school community - parents, staff and children - work together to do their very best for our wonderful school.

At Busbridge Junior School we are blessed to have a wonderful PTA who work with the wider community to raise much needed funds for our school. With school budgets as tight as they are, not only do the PTA - The Friends of Busbridge Junior School- raise funds for exciting projects for the children, they also help to support the school with the basics. Books, art equipment, dictionaries for example. All essential to the day to day teaching and learning. This half term, a group of staff are supporting the PTA in their endeavours by climbing Mount Snowden. If anyone can spare a few pennies, we would be grateful for any sponsorship to help us add to the PTA pot. We would like to purchase some new books for the library, maybe even stretch to a lick of paint in there too and possibly buy some new furniture. Anything you can give will be hugely beneficial to our children as we continue to strive to provide the best experience we can for them during their time at junior school.
