After a two-year hiatus, Burning the Clocks is coming back to Brighton and Hove. Help support the return of this beloved Winter event.
Burning the Clocks is finally back and it needs your support to return
Every year on 21st December, the winter solstice, we produce this much-loved event in Brighton. Burning the Clocks combines a beautiful lantern procession through the streets of Brighton, with a spectacular fire and fireworks show, bringing the whole city together to celebrate and reflect on the past year.
A Beloved Winter Tradition
Burning the Clocks was created in 1993 as an antidote to the excesses of the commercial Christmas and as a way to celebrate the festive season regardless of faith, embracing our entire community. It brings people together from all ages and walks of life to celebrate our fantastically unique city and to share the things that bind us all.

This event receives no guaranteed funding. We rely heavily on donations from our community to make this massive event happen.
Please support us so we can bring this fantastic procession back to the city.

More rewards will be announced for donations in November so check this page for regular updates.
