Burning the Clocks needs your help to survive Covid 19
Every year on 21st December, the winter solstice, we produce this much-loved event in Brighton. Burning the Clocks combines a beautiful lantern procession through the streets of Brighton, with a spectacular fire and fireworks show, bringing the whole city together to celebrate and reflect on the past year.
The currebnt pandemic has restricted many of our mopvements and has affected lots of events. Lets keep the flame alive by taking part in this specoal 2020 vison version.
Same Sky has recieved some support from the governments Cutural Recovery Fund via Arts Council England, Which we are matching with our own resrves and funds raised from our suopported throiugh donations and this crowdfunder. These generous donations will support many of our key artists by funding them to make bespoke themed lanterns that will form a trail through some of Brihgton and Hove's unique shops.
Burning the Clocks was created in 1993 as an antidote to the excesses of the commercial Christmas and as a way to celebrate the festive season regardless of faith, embracing our entire community. It brings people together from all ages and walks of life to celebrate our fantastically unique city and to share the things that bind us all.

We are delighted to announce that the incredible Graham Carter has generously decided to support Burning the Clocks again for the 7th year running and has created another stunning limited edition print to go with this years theme 'Temps Perdu'.
This beautiful print is available to purchase here on our crowdfunder page and the proceeds from each sale goes towards Burning the Clocks. We aim to have your print delivered in time for Christmas and will post via courier by the 19th December 2019.
