Building Self-Belief supports young people to realise their full potential in life. With your help, we can help many more young people

by Building Self-Belief CIO in United Kingdom

Building Self-Belief is a charity focused on improving the wellbeing of young people in need, and supporting them to build their self-belief.

A Brighter Future

Building Self-Belief have developed a series of programmes that are all designed to improve the self-confidence and self-belief of young people. These include our Wellbeing Programme, Bridging the Gap Between Education and Work, Year 6 Transition Heritage Programme and our Environmental Programme. Our aim is to create stronger connections between our young people and their communities. We give them a greater sense of purpose and  help them realise their full potential in life.

Young people need to get their lives back on track after the pressures and uncertainty of lockdown. Building Self-Belief are here to help.

Our Sponsors

We are delighted that Haines Watts  agreed to be our sponsors this year. They have supported us in a variety of ways, including by conducting engaging career podcasts, as well as inviting us into their Newcastle and Leeds offices to support our young people and help us raise their aspirations.

Unique Experiences

An important element of what we do is to give young people from more deprived areas an opportunity to experience unique activities. Our most recent venture was to take a group of students from Consett Academy, Co Durham, to Glasgow, to COP26. Our focus was on climate action and youth democracy. With your support we can continue to provide such experiences.

Testimonial

"At a time where our young people need support more than ever, this project has proved to be invaluable.  This is exactly what is needed at the moment and as many students as possible should benefit from this project.”

Karen Rose – Greenfield Community College, Newton Aycliffe

Our programmes are a huge success and at a time where resources are in short supply, we can offer a whole host of different ways for young people to feel more confident and get their life back on track. Your support is invaluable in helping us deliver our services.

We would really appreciate your support. With this fund we will be in a position to help another young people to transform their lives for the better.
