A merry band of Yessers has continued to ensure Yes East Ayrshire has remained active since the referendum result in 2014, believing this to have been a delay to our campaigning, not an end. We have carried on meeting and campaigning on issues that support our argument for Independence and highlight issues social problems caused by Westminster Government policies.
We bought a van last year and have been using this to reach folks across East Ayrshire and beyond to campaign on Independence and Nuclear Disarmament.
We are excited to be to have been able to have secured premises in Kilmarnock that will support our aims and help us reach voters with the many reasons why Scotland should be independent. We will staff the shop with happy volunteers but really need a few things like a laptop, printer, and access to the internet to be able to inform voters and run events that support the case for Independence. We know that we need to reach previous no voters and be the change we want to see in our communities in order to have our goal realized so please help us.
To that end, we need funds to support the production of materials and equipment necessary for the proper running of our Yes hub and are asking you to help us reach a modest target of £2000.
No donation is too small and every single £ is used furthering our shared goal of a socially just Independent Scotland
