Thank you so much everyone who donated to help us hit our target: thanks to you now we can spring into action to take our groundbreaking map of NHS privatisation to the next level and build the movement to halt + reverse NHS privatisation across the UK.

Together we’re building a national movement of people who oppose NHS privatisation; and we’re raising funds to run the second phase of our campaign.

If we can raise the funds, we will: 

• Take our map to the next stage; to include data and stories from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as add PFI debt and many more strands, to expose the true extent of NHS privatisation in all its forms across the UK.
• Take this campaign around the UK; we want to bring this campaign offline, running events with people, organisations and businesses who oppose NHS privatisation.
• Boost our team capacity to do more public actions, research, and continue our engagement with politicians to grow the anti-NHS privatisation movement.
• Continue powerful information sharing; raising public awareness about the dangers of NHS privatisation and the impact on NHS patients, staff and the very future of the NHS. 

Since launching our #ScrapNHSBill campaign last summer, we've done some amazing things.

We sent 12,381 letters to MPs. We’ve run YouGov polls and ad vans around Westminster. Hosted our first public webinar and shone a projection onto Parliament. And we’ve reached out to members of the House of Lords and engaged with Peers from across the political spectrum, to discuss the harmful Health and Care Bill, currently making its way through Parliament. And now we've taken the first (huge!) step to build our map of NHS privatisation across the UK. Together with our incredible network, we’ve raised the profile of NHS privatisation and are having a huge impact. 

Now, we have even bigger plans to build a strong and visible national movement to influence healthcare leaders and politicians. A project like this is ambitious and we have no time to lose.

This government is attempting to accelerate NHS privatisation, and we must stop it. We believe in a future NHS which is properly funded, supports staff and provides equitable care for all. We believe it should be funded, managed and run as a public service, without external providers running NHS services. And we want all private company involvement to end. Profit-making has no place in the running of public health services. 

We’re going to have to fight for the NHS, together.
