Our existing Village Hall is a flat roofed prefabricated building over 30 years old. We need a New Hall to meet the needs of the community.
The Project - Build a New Village Hall for Croft on Tees
Our Village has been fund raising for the last few years and through our efforts/savings,donations and grants we have raised £152,000. We have also received a conditional grant offer of £50,000 which can only be claimed once the Hall (Phase 1) is completed and paid for. Provided we meet all the grant conditions we will be able to draw down the £50,000 and start Phase 2 - kit out the hall, disabled access, pathways, outside lighting and car parking etc.,
Project Costs:
Phase 1 The new building is going to cost in the region of £170,000 (demolition, ground works and the building).
Phase 2 Landscaping/disabled access, external lighting, car parking and furnishing the interior. This is likely to cost in the region of £50,000k. Total cost anticipated £220,000.
Funding Gap approximately £18,000 - Fund Raising Continues

The Benefits to the Village
The Residents of the Village and surrounding areas are keen to have a new community space and have lots of ideas about how they would like to use this space. Its a place where the community comes together and supports one another.
The People
We have a team of 20-30 regular volunteers and lots of other people who offer support and attend events.
Why Crowd Fund:
Crowd Funding would give people, who live locally and come into the village, the opportunity to invest in something which will benefit them, their friends, children and other family members for years to come.
The Village Hall is central to the Village and hosts a variety of functions which everyone is invited to - The annual Gala Day, Gala Barbecue, Easter Breakfast, Historic Walks, Lectures, Children's Christmas and Halloween Parties as well as the various regular classes and events which are held within the Hall.

We reach out to the whole community.
