Build A Girl Bradford

BUILD A GIRL UK CIC is a not for profit Community Interest Company. We work with girls and young women at risk of sexual exploitation in Bradford, West Yorkshire - particularly those with few or no role models. We work creatively and intensively using the highly acclaimed BUILD A GIRL is led by local survivor and campaigner FIONA BROADFOOT. Fiona and her team work to build intergenerational trust and friendship using positive female role models, all experienced at building strong relationships with girls and young people. Participants are enabled to share experiences, concerns, and fears in creative ways. They are also encouraged to build strong relationships with one another and to cascade their experiences of BUILD A GIRL to others. BAG runs weekly group activities and also offers one-to-one support to girls not ready for group situations.

We need funds to buy food and materials for these group activities. We also need to provide safe transport for all the girls.

£5 will buy food and materials needed for a girl to participate in a group session.

£10 will pay for transport for a girl to attend a group or one-to-one session safely.

We welcome one-off donations but a regular donation will ensure that this important work can continue.
