A Resource Centre for Everyone

We are crowdfunding to reach our final 25% of funds we need to create a resource centre. 

Thousands have already invested and with 30 years of established Buddhafield offerings, the next 30 plus years of this BASE project is bigger than Buddhafield...

Our vision is established... We will build sustainable, connected local economies and communities through ecological restoration, conscious events, ethical enterprise, incubating social innovation, courses, and more.

To do this, we need to raise the total of £1.8million through various fundraising strategies to buy around 70 acres of land with storage and residential buildings.

About Buddhafield - 30 years of legacy!

We have a long history, 30 plus years, of supporting intergenerational connection, good businesses and a commitment to simplicity as an antidote to overconsumption and permanent dissatisfaction. 

Buddhafield Base will be a place where people will meet for mindful action, celebration and positive action, reconnecting with what matters most. Rooted in land, relationship, and shared intention, it will offer something increasingly rare: time, stillness, and belonging. It is a place shaped not by profit, but by practice, care, and collective responsibility. 

This crowdfunder is an invitation to help grow this vision.

Everyone is Needed

Buddhafield and its activities are underpinned by Buddhist principles and practices but, to be clear, we’re all in this together - those of any faith and none. The next step in our evolution must be collaborative and energising at every level. Our commitment to centring our interdependence with one another, all beings, and the world we live in is absolute. Whether through restorative practices, learning new skills, fostering friendships, or meeting challenges, we aim to equip people to return to their local communities with something innovative and meaningful to contribute. This network already exists; we just want to illuminate it.

Your resources, including your money, are precious. You put in time to earn it. You need to know that when you give it away, it will have an impact that was worth your investment. Here are some clear outcomes, benefits and indicators that the work we want to do matters. 

 What we will do with your money: 

• Purchase approximately 70 acres of land with storage and residential buildings. 
• Support a community- both residential and remote- that will manage the land and run our events and training.
• Run affordable and/or funded trainings and events where people gain essential skills and support for life’s big challenges and celebrations. 
• Steward land for ecological gain and biodiversity. 
• Support ethical businesses, artists and community projects. 
• Build relationships with local economies and people.  
• Employ people in sustainable ways that support happy, balanced lives. 
• Demonstrate radical, accessible and innovative ways to live sustainably and with a keen awareness of social and environmental responsibility. 
• Work within organisational structures that empower people and demonstrate alternatives to the centralised power structures we’re used to. 
• Bring together people of all ages to tackle isolation and disconnection.

Isolation, apathy, addictive behaviours, sadness, fear, pessimism, various -isms and phobias, divisiveness - all of these words are familiar to us. They’re almost becoming matter-of-fact and accepted as part of the way of life. Something different is possible. We know it in our bones, and we see it when we train our awareness to notice. The work of Buddhafield so far has had a huge impact on thousands of lives for more than 30 years. 

• 70% of people who have experienced Buddhafield say that they were drawn by a connection to land and nature and to the drug- and alcohol-free nature of our social events. 
• 82% say they have found a greater connection to community and friendship through Buddhafield. 
• Over 80% of people report feeling safe, included, encouraged, and part of something when attending Buddhafield events.
• 55% of our audience say they experience social isolation, and 30% say they work with addiction issues. Over 80% say that Buddhafield has helped them face social or personal difficulties, while 70% say they feel a greater connection to land.

We’re on the way. Here’s what we’re offering in return for your donation: 

• £10 – Seed Supporter- A heartfelt thank you, and your name listed on our online supporters’ page.
• £25 – Digital Gratitude- The first reward, plus downloadable Buddhafield Base artworks/wallpaper and early access to the full version of The Gratitude Song by Rebecca Cant. 
• £50 – Community Circle- The first two rewards, plus an invitation to two online gratitude and meditation gatherings in the autumn/winter.
• £75 – Course Discount- The first three rewards, plus £50 off a future Buddhafield Base course.
• £200 – Base Celebration- The first three rewards, plus an invite to an on-the-land celebration when we have established Buddhafield Base, will include camping or live-in spot, vegan and locally sourced food, music and fireside joy
• £500 – Land Guardian- The first three rewards, plus a tree planted in your name at Buddhafield Base. 
• £750 – Base Builder- The first three rewards, plus a private tour for you and a guest, and a shared meal when possible.

• £400- The first three rewards, 2 x festival tickets - lock in the 2026 price for two future years (25 available) 
• £1000- The first three rewards, 5x festival tickets - lock in the 2026 price for five future years (25) 
• £2150- The first three rewards, 10x festival tickets- secure your place in Buddhafield’s future for the next decade (35 available) 

✨Sangha Partner  Rewards

We appreciate all of our donors, and we know that some people have more to give and want to spend that in ways that will make a difference. 

• £5,000 - The first 3 rewards, plus a private tour of Buddhafield Base for you and a guest in year 2 after purchase, a shared meal and ten years of festival tickets (5 available).
• £10,000- the first three rewards, a private tour of Buddhafield Base for you and a guest in year 2 after purchase and a lifetime pass to Buddhafield Festival (10 available).
