Who are we?

Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project was set up in 1981 and is a registered charity. We provide practical support, education, advice and much more to those in poverty, in poor living conditions, benefit claimants, the unwaged, pensioners, families and those on low incomes and suffering social exclusion and poor wellbeing.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO RELIEVE POVERTY, DISTRESS AND HARDSHIP AMONGST UNEMPLOYED, UNWAGED AND LOW WAGED PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES LIVING OR STAYING IN THE BRIGHTON AREA REGARDLESS OF RACE, SEX, AGE OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION

Why are we crowdfunding?

BUCFP are looking at increased running costs this year and ahead, be that rental of our building, or the ongoing running costs of gas and electric. We are fundraising to help support and sustain BUCFP into the future. We celebrated our 41st birthday this year!
