Broadwater School - Outdoor Spaces Makeover

Aim: To improve the outdoor spaces for students providing more seating and a more dynamic environment where they can relax, socialise and eat.
WHAT
The Friends of Broadwater want to improve the outdoor spaces for the students of Broadwater School. The plan is to create a more stimulating environment where students and staff are able to benefit from the natural environment. We wanted to focus on a project that would benefit all students now and in many years to come.
WHY
Broadwater school is expanding due to further development and growth of the surrounding towns & villages and the current outdoor facilities are lacking in many ways. There is a desperate need for more seating and a more dynamic environment for students to relax and have a break between lessons.
WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN
This project is going to cost £120,000! We have been successful in a bid for funding from Godalming Town Council and we are very grateful to them for their major contribution from their Neighbourhood CIL fund. However we need support from the school and surrounding community to raise a FINAL £5,000 to enable us to hit GO on the project button - if we make it the build will start during the summer holidays and will be transformed in a matter of weeks. Students and the local community will be able to use the new space for the start of term in SEPTEMBER 2023! We need your help to make sure we capitalise on the amazing funding opportunity Godalming Town Council have offered us.

Donors Recognition Board - those who are able to donate £50 or more will be be given recognition on our Donors Board which will be displayed in the garden area.
