Help the British Lacrosse Women make Olympic history. The dream is within our grasp but we need your support to reach the podium at LA28

We are the British Lacrosse Women's Team. We love our country, we love our game, and with the Olympic Games LA28 on the horizon we’ve set our sights not just on qualifying for it (the first ever Olympics to include women’s lacrosse), but on finishing with a medal for Team GB.

That dream is truly within reach. Right now we’re ranked top 5 in the world, and we’ve got ambition, talent and work ethic by the bucketload. To get on the podium what we need now is financial support. 

People often assume that because we’re the GB team, we’re fully-funded professional athletes like most other Olympic contenders. Our reality is different. Our players work other jobs, using their annual leave for our training and tournaments, and paying thousands of pounds of their own money to cover essential costs. But this isn’t a normal project, and our Olympic dreams can’t come true without you.

To compete and win means seriously investing in our programme: committing to the equipment, technology, and personnel we need to compete with our rivals. From medical and safety equipment to performance psychologists, from film analytics and GPS tech to nutritionists, we want to put ourselves on a level playing field with our international competitors.

To get to LA 2028, we first need to win at the European Championships in November this year. Then we need to succeed at the World Championships in 2027. It’s only then that we will be qualified for one of the 6 spaces in LA28. A battle-hardened team, experienced at winning, and able to play a fast, agile, confident game on the biggest stage of them all. So the journey starts now.

Picture this. It’s the summer of 2028 and you’re sitting at home, an enthusiastic armchair expert in lacrosse, cheering at the TV and willing us to win that Olympic medal for GB. In that moment, remember that it was now that you had the opportunity to help us: to have a direct impact on the game unfolding before you. Please take that chance and support British Lacrosse.

How you can be part of our success

There are three simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this dream a reality.
