Aim
Stages are supporting Flamingo Chicks and raising money to get disabled children dancing.
Flamingo Chicks is an inclusive charity giving disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer, the opportunity to enjoy dance and explore movement. They also provide a peer support network for parents and carers, intergenerational volunteering, global outreach and advocacy!
We are passionate about providing an inclusive, fun and rich dance experience for children, by translating a version of ballet that is accessible to all, regardless of ability.
This April, Stages will be supporting Flamingo Chicks, raising money through our 4 dance shows. Flamingo Chicks aim to raise a minimum of £20,000 to reach 11,000 children in 2024 and shine a spotlight on the importance of creating opportunities for disabled children to move, dance and make friends.
