Bring Home The Wickers

We are the new Southwick 1882 FC, formed by players, managers and supporters of Southwick FC as a Community Interest Company following the recent sad demise of our club and the closure of our ground Old Barn Way through no fault of our own due to owner/leaseholder neglect.

We have launched the #BringHomeTheWickers campaign to get the club back to Old Barn Way, and have already received lots of support from our community and local and national media. The team has stayed together and dropped two divisions to keep the club going, playing on Southwick Rec within a goal kick of the ground until we get back into our rightful home.

A vibrant youth section has been formed and will also be competing in local leagues this season.

We are asking for your financial support, firstly to help with the pitch hire, officials’ fees and other costs associated with a brand new club and in the longer term, if as we hope our bid is successful, to help us with the expense connected with renovating Old Barn Way and ensuring a bright future for fan owned community football in Southwick.
