Bring the Johnny King Statue Back to Its Best

Trust members and supporters have highlighted the need for maintenance around the ground, and the deteriorating base of the statue is one area that requires attention.

We are raising funds to professionally restore the base, including repairing damaged areas, carefully cleaning and refitting the original granite tiles wherever possible, and replacing the cracked and deteriorated rendering and pointing. The work will improve both the condition and appearance of the base, helping to protect it from further deterioration.

The Tiling Guys, who are Tranmere supporters themselves, have generously offered to carry out the work at a special community rate, meaning every donation will go further.
