Aim
Help get the much loved Raz McVeighty back to his home on the Isle of Man and give him a proper send off.
The much loved punk gig fan Raz McVeighty sadly recently passed away, doing what he did best, attending a music event in Blackpool. The DIY punk scene is only as strong as the people who go to the gigs and Raz went to more than most. He travelled to the mainland from his home in the Isle of Man most weekends to attend punk gigs all over the UK, becoming one of the most popular faces on the scene. His enthusiasm and warm personality won over everyone who met him. He will be missed, but not forgotten by everyone.
Raz has a brother and sister in the Isle of Man, who need to get him back home. The cost of this is in the region of £2000. This is a lot of money, on top of the cost of a funeral and all it's related expenses. The aim of this fundraiser, is to cover the cost of his repatriation to the IOM and for any remaining funds to go towards his headstone and to give him the send off he deserves. Let's repay Raz, for the loyalty he showed to all the bands and promoters he supported and the UK punk scene as whole.
