Aim

We’re restoring the FUSE 3G pitch so local kids have a safe, welcoming place to play, grow, and belong again.

Who are we?

We’re a small team of locals running The FUSE, a community space built for everyone. Our aim is simple — to create a place where young people feel supported, seen, and inspired to reach their potential.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We’re crowdfunding to restore the FUSE 3G pitch — a vital space for local kids and community groups. Years of heavy use have left it unsafe and unplayable, and without it, young people are losing a safe place to play, grow, and connect. Every donation helps bring this pitch back to life and keeps sport accessible for everyone.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We’ve been quoted £55,000 to fully restore the FUSE 3G pitch — a space that’s meant so much to our local kids and community.

The amazing news is we’ve already secured a £15,000 conditional offer from Sport England — but to unlock it, we need to raise a further £15,000 through this crowdfunder.

Every pound raised will go toward resurfacing the pitch, repairing the goals and lighting, and making it a safe, welcoming place once again.

This isn’t just about fixing a pitch. It’s about giving our young people their place back — a field where they can play, grow, and belong.

Community impact

The FUSE 3G pitch has always been more than just a sports facility — it’s been a lifeline for our local community. From youth football and after-school clubs to community events and wellbeing sessions, it’s a place where people of all ages come together.

For many young people, it’s their safe space — somewhere to burn off energy, make friends, and build confidence. For parents, it’s peace of mind knowing their kids are active and supported. For local groups, it’s a hub that brings people together through sport, connection, and shared purpose.

Restoring the pitch means restoring a vital community heartbeat. It means more kids off the streets and on the field, more friendships formed, and more reasons to be proud of the place we call home.

How you can play your part

There are four simple ways you can help us bring the FUSE pitch back to life — and give local kids their space to play again:

Make a pledge. Every donation counts. Don’t wait — early support builds the momentum we need to hit our target and unlock our £15,000 Sport England grant!

Spread the word. Share our crowdfunder on social media, tell your friends, and help us reach as many people as possible. The more people who know, the faster we’ll get there.

Offer rewards. Local businesses, we’d love your help! Donate products, services, or experiences that we can offer our supporters — we’ll proudly shout you out on our page.

Fundraise for us. Fancy running your own mini fundraiser? Whether it’s a sponsored run, bake sale, or 5-a-side match, hit the ‘contact project’ button at the top of our page. It only takes a few minutes to set up — and every little effort makes a massive difference.
