Bring Back Free Open-Air Summer Theatre to Bruce Castle Park in 2025!

Established in 2016, the Friends of Bruce Castle Park (FoBCP) volunteers aim to create a well-maintained, safe public park that enhances the quality of life for local people, improves health, and fosters community.

The Friends pursue this goal by connecting with local communities, working with Haringey's park services, and organising a variety of activities.

For example, the Friends coordinate a monthly litter-pick followed by a much-loved social gathering, an event that is soon reaching its 100th recurrence.

Since 2017, the Friends have also organised a free annual event in Bruce Castle Park and have welcomed Quantum Theatre since 2019 to perform one of their engaging and family-friendly adaptations of a classic.

These events have been made possible through the dedicated volunteer hours of our small group, as well as by the generous funding provided largely by Haringey Council. Unfortunately, the funding from Haringey Council cannot cover all costs, and the Friends are unsure if they can secure further external funding for 2025 to cover the remaining expenses.
