On the 18th July 2023 we'd raised £3,019 with 58 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
If we exceed our target we will take more young people to more camps this summer.
On Saturday 8th July from 12 noon we are going to have another 24 hour Ping-Pong-a-Thon at the Brighton Table Tennis Club. Come and play mini table, mega table, any table, and play as many AllStars matches in 24 hours as is physically possible ⭐
BTTC is raising money to help send some of our young players on a number of table tennis camps this summer, such as the nationally renowned Cooke and Deaton in Grantham. We know that these trips create memories for life.
Stay all night or for any part of the night. Come back early and help see us through to midday on Sunday morning. We want the club full for the whole 24 hour period. Under 18s will be asked to leave by midnight but may return anytime from 5am.
If you want to take part and are able to fundraise (you don't have to) then you could ask sponsors to donate 10p, 50p or £1 per match that you play. Or ask for an hourly rate. Or just ask for a fixed amount in advance.
Last summer at the BTTC Ping-Pong-a-Thon Dawid Konior played 60 matches in 24 hours. If anyone can play more than 60 matches of AllStars in 24 hours then Tim Holtam will make a personal donation of £60 to the fundraiser.
We have an unprecedented number of young players who are achieving wonderful things at the club, locally and nationally.
Given our commitment to supporting everyone, whatever their situation or economic background, we subsidise costs to ensure no talent is left behind.
We are finding the amount of subsidy needed now is increasing massively because of the pool of talent the club has gathered.
