Help recoup money stolen from Brighton pensioner

On the eve of his wife's funeral Colin Watts was burgled. Funeral money was stolen along with his wife's wedding ring and other possessions.

Project aim

On the eve of his wife's funeral Colin Watts was burgled. Funeral money was stolen along with his wife's wedding ring and other possessions. My aim is to try and recoup that money in an effort to help Colin financially and hopefully it will go some way towards raising his spirits.

My first thought was where can we donate? After finding out that we couldn't I decided to set up this page in an effort to help. I spoke to Colin this morning after The Argus passed on my details and he is touched that we have decided to do this for him.  Although the sentimental items cannot be replaced, let's see if we can recoup the £800 that was stolen from him.

This project successfully funded on 8th May 2015
