Brightlingsea Late Night Shopping 2024

Although small, our lovely town always goes big when it comes to organising events for all to enjoy. Held on the first Friday of December, Brightlingsea Late Night Shopping is one of the biggest and we are asking for your help to make this the best one yet to really get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Late Night Shopping has been running for over 40 years and in that time has had many wonderful organisers including Shop Brightlingsea, the Local Business Association and Brightlingsea PTA.
Since lockdown, the event has been without direction and at risk of being lost, so with not much time and no budget, a small group of locals joined together to ensure the much-loved event still went ahead in 2023.
Our small team has big plans for 2024 and would love nothing more than to throw a fantastic festive spectacle for the town, but we are in desperate need of funds!
This year’s theme is Swan Lake and illuminations. We are hoping to transform the town centre into a winter wonderland for all to enjoy, followed by a light up procession through the high street.
Just a few pounds can help towards the cost of decorations, costumes, performers, etc.
