Co created by Michael Batista & Ebube Chukwuma, BRIEFCASE explores the themes of obedience, fear, and the paradox of choice. While presented through the lens of a mystery/thriller, these ideas reflect questions that are increasingly relevant in modern society.
Today, we are surrounded by more choices than ever before, yet many people feel more uncertain, overwhelmed, and influenced by external pressures. We often find ourselves questioning whether our decisions are truly our own or shaped by the world around us.
The film also examines how fear can influence behaviour. Fear has the power to encourage obedience, discourage people from challenging authority, and affect the choices they make.
Rather than offering simple answers, our story invites viewers to reflect on these themes in their own lives. Through suspense and silence, we hope to spark conversations about free will and the courage it takes to question what we are told.
