Aim
Donations would be gratefully received to help ensure that the FREE Bridgwater Playday continues in 2026 and annually in future.
Bridgwater's first ever playday is taking place on Wednesday 30th July 2025 (10am-3pm), with thanks to local partnerships and community support. This FREE event is part of National Playday which is the biggest play sector event in the UK, and possibly Europe! As well as a celebration of children’s right to play, Playday is a campaign that highlights the importance of accessible and inclusive children’s play in children’s lives. This special day emphasises the value of play in fostering creativity, imagination, social skills, and physical development. The Playday Committee is a small, local group of dedicated individuals that meet throughout the year to fundraise and organise the event. It is hoped that by asking attendees for a small donation at the event, that it will help ensure that Playday continues for years to come.
