N-Hance Training Academy helps Worcester’s young people re-engage in learning, gain trade skills, and build brighter futures. #skillsgap
N-Hance Training Academy CIC, our mission is simple but urgent:
Building futures through technical education. To reduce the skills shortage in the UK and improve current post 16 retention rates in vocational studies.
Worcester’s young people are being left behind in technical and vocational learning — only 40% continue in Level 2 technical subjects post-16, far below the national average. At the same time, the UK is facing a severe shortage of skilled workers in trades like plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
We’re creating a specialist post-16 alternative provision that re-engages learners aged 16–19 (and in some cases 14–16) who are NEET, home-educated, excluded from school, or struggling in mainstream education. Our entry requirements are inclusive. Our flexible, inclusive programme will combine:
Hands-on vocational training in key trades
Life skills & employability coaching.
Pastoral, mental health, and SEND support
Regular Industry partnerships for work experience
Our vision is a community where every young person has the skills, confidence, and opportunities to thrive — while helping to fill the UK’s critical skills gap.
