Aim
To continue to provide a safe and welcoming space in Bollington for everyone. Supporting people to live well.
Who are we?
The Bridgend Centre is thirty three years old and a focal point for Bollington. We provide lots of services for anyone to use. We aim to reduce loneliness and improve peoples lives in a space where everyone is treated in the same way.
Community impact
Everyone is welcome at the Bridgend Centre, we particularly help the more vulnerable members of our community. We deliver a number of services including a warm kitchen cafe, various activities, befriending, one to one support and information.
Why are we crowdfunding?
The number of visitors to the Bridgend Centre has increased in recent months as more people need our support in these challenging times. With this demand comes increased costs, we want to continue to keep our doors open to everyone six days a week.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Money raised will go towards our basic costs for heating and lighting our building and funding our community workers to be on hand for the people who need us.
