Aim
Help keep the Brentford Canal Festival free – 5th Anniversary 2026
The Brentford Canal Festival is turning 5 — and we’re asking our community to help keep it free, inclusive and open to everyone.
Each year, thousands of people come together by the canal for live music, dance, water sports, food and family activities — all delivered by volunteers and supported by local businesses.
But funding for free community events is becoming harder to secure.
If the Festival is to continue — and if its impact is to last beyond one day — we now need direct support from the community it serves.
This Crowdfunder is about ownership.
If you value the Festival, this is your chance to help make it happen.
We’re aiming to raise £10,000 to help:
- Deliver a safe, accessible and sustainable free Festival
- Support the volunteers who make it happen
- Provide free performances, activities and water-based experiences
This year, fundraising will also support a Community Legacy Fund, helping to improve Brentford’s waterways and green spaces beyond the Festival itself.
Every donation helps.
Plans will be scaled responsibly to match available resources.
