Aim
Over the next few months, Team Flying for Change - a team of BA graduates & apprentices - are raising £24,000 for the King's Trust.
Over the months, Team Flying for Change is looking to push ourselves, push our colleagues, and bring the business along with us on an important journey, with the aim of raising over £24,000 for The King's Trust.
The King’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter their background or the challenges they are facing. The charity helps young people from facing the greatest adversities, by supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn.
It acts as an extraordinary engine for social mobility by empowering young people with what they need. £1,200 is how much it costs for the King's Trust to transform a young person's life, and over the next four months, we want to transform the lives of 20 people.
To reach this ambitious target, we have designed a series of five enormously ambitions fundraising hikes. The first saw us walk 30km down the Thames Path, and this week, we're taking things to the next level. A team of seven of us have set off to Ibiza, walking a combined 1,200km in five days (about 35km each, everyday!!). This is set to be a massive challenge, but an amazing one too.
Any and all donations will go directly to the King's Trust - and would be enormously appreciated, by them, us, and the many thousands of young people that they support.
