Brecon Drink Can Recycling

Aim

we are looking at obtaining a can separator, crusher and compactor for our social welfare project.

We are looking for your help

This is a charity based workshop

 We have set up crowd funding with the hope that we are able to purchase much needed equipment, what we are looking to purchase is a can crusher and compactor,

what do we do

we collect from the public, local bars and cafes around Brecon... drink cans are then separated by hand and crush under foot , then we weigh them in,that payment then is sent to food kitchens food banks and the homeless, the work is all done voluntary.

why do we need the equipment

At first we had only been takeing in aprox 10kg to 30kg per week which was easily dealt with but over the last few months this has now increase to approx 1 to 1.5 tonne per month,with that it has effected the turn around, the process has slowed as it is now taking much longer to have the items ready,and the back log has become unmanageable,not only that but the finances for those in need,has slowed in reaching  them,so the only solution is to obtain equiptment. at this time we do not have the finances to cover the full cost of the  equipment,so looking for your help...if you able to donate just £1 towards the cost of equipment we would be very greteful.
