Aim

Me and my old knees and some colleagues will look to complete a 22 trek over the Brecon Beacons to raise funds for Military v Cancer

I am looking to raise funds for the charity Military v Cancer in the name of Fusilier Jack Wilkes, a young soldier of 21 years who battled cancer with immense strength and bravery.  Despite going through the most adverse conditions imaginable, he never gave up the fight though he ultimately lost the final battle.  His story is inspirational, how his family dealt with the unimaginable loss is inspirational and how the local community and his extended Army family rallied around is inspiring.

It has inspired me to take up the challenge provided by Military vs Cancer and take part in the Brecon Beacons Challenge, if anyone's seen my knees recently will know that this will be no walk in the (national) park..  Help me raise vital funds for colleagues and friends, serving personnel, veterans, and families affected by cancer.

Diolch yn fawr i iawn (as they say in Wales)
