Aim

To campaign hard and get Green Councillors elected across Wales in May 2022 - a once in every five years opportunity to transform Wales

This May, for the first time in five years, there will be local elections in Wales. 

It is vitally important that Greens are elected to local councils so they can put our principles of social and environmental justice into action across Wales. 

In recent years we’ve had great success at local elections in England and we now have 464 councillors elected across 165 local authorities. We know how to win local elections, but we need your help to make it happen in Wales.

We have great candidates supported by teams of dedicated volunteers, but they desperately need more funds to pay for the campaign leaflets that we know are needed to win enough votes. 

Your donation could make the difference between them winning or just coming second.

By electing Green councillors, we’ll have influence on housing, transport, education, social care, youth services, recycling, the environment and climate change - making real improvements to people’s lives. 

And that’s just the start. The more councillors we elect this May, the greater chance we will have of electing Greens to the Welsh Parliament - the Senedd - in 2026.

We are very confident - with your help these are campaigns that can win.
