❤️ Why are we fundraising?

Swinton & District Excelsior Band is a community brass band based in Swinton, near Malton in North Yorkshire. In 2026, we celebrated our 90th anniversary — 90 years of making music, bringing people together and providing opportunities for people of all ages to learn and enjoy playing brass instruments.

Now we’re looking ahead to the next 90 years.

Our Next 90 Years Appeal aims to raise funds towards a new bandroom and community music hub, providing a much-needed home for our growing band and learners, as well as a welcoming space for the wider community.

Every contribution helps us move closer to that ambition. By entering our prize draw, you’ll have the chance to win a fantastic musical experience while supporting the future of community music.

A huge thank you to all the players, bands and individuals who have generously donated prizes and helped make this draw possible.
