Bradford Music Scene was founded in 2021, and since its inception we have come a long way. In that time we have created gig lists, live music events, hosted the biggest music networking events in the City, held Women in Music events, promoted lots of amazing homegrown talent, and created a massive network of music fans that has really helped bring people all across the music scene together.
We are raising funds so that we might continue to do all the work we already have been doing, but to take things to the next level.
Your donation no matter how big or small could really help make a huge impact on Bradford Music Scene's goal to help put Bradford on the map. Thank you so much for choosing to support us.
Our Plan
We aim to host more of our succesful 'Let's Make a Scene' networking events. We have hosted panels with great guests so far from the likes of Music Venue Trust, Launchpad, Bradford Producing Hub, Bradford Live and Bradford 2025. It has proved a great night for artists, venue owners, studios, promoters, and music fans to network and connect in a friendly face-to-face environment
Behind the Scene's we have also created a 'Bradford Music Venue Council' of which we have chaired a number of meetings, and give Bradfords' music venue owners a chance to meet and discuss issues we are facing in the music industry and in our City
We want to continue to champion the homegrown Bradford talent, around the country as we have done with our printed Top 9's material, which we distribute around the country and put in the hands of DJ's and promoters including the likes of Jericho Keyes, and Emily Pilbeam of BBC introducing
Our Gig Lists have proven popular, at the time of writing there have been nearly 30 editions, many of which we have printed and distributed around the city for the general public to utilise
'Let Them Eat Cake' is our initiative to promote female musicians in the city, with interesting, entertaining, intimate shows, that promote the best we have to offer in the City of Bradford. Alongside this we have also recently launched a Bradford Women in Music wing of Bradford Music Scene to promote on social media.
Your donations will also help us to maintain and improve on our website www.bradfordmusicscene.com - where we keep a record of all our published material, including gig lists and photographs. You can visit this website any time and see what's going on in Bradford this month
If you have read this far, thank you so much, and thank you for supporting Bradford and it's music scene, just like we hope to continue in doing. Cheers, BMS
