Raising emergency funds to allow Bracknell Foodbank to deal with the increased demand across the Berkshire area due to Covid19
As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds in the UK, our main priority is ensuring the safety of everyone who comes to our food bank – whether it’s someone needing help, someone volunteering their time, or someone making a donation.
No one in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide nutritionally balanced food and support to local people who are referred to us. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
1. We are seeing increased demand up by 250% across the Bracknell area and only expect this to get higher.
2. We are seeing challenges in acquiring certain food items owing to supermarket supply chains & limits on purchases
3. We will need to look at alternative storage solutions as demand increases
4. A number of our regular volunteers are from at risk groups so unable to work currently.
We need your urgent help to fund the purchase of additional food to bridge the gaps & to help us ensure our storage is sustainable long term.
By donating through this crowdfunding page or by dropping off much needed items at one our dedicated locations

Our foodbank is a project founded by Kerith Community Church in Bracknell, Berkshire, run in partnership with The Trussell Trust as part of a national network of Foodbanks. Working to eliminate hunger in our local area due to financial crisis.
It was set up in 2011 to serve the community of Bracknell Forest & everyone is welcome – our guests & volunteers come from all faiths, and none.
We are open 3 days a week (Tues, Weds & Fri 12:00-1.30pm) operating out of Kerith Community Church in Bracknell to serve the local community. Our donations come from churches, supermarkets, local organisations, schools, businesses and individuals.
If you are happy to drop off food donations, these are our food collection point locations:
If you cannot get to these locations then please give to this Crowdfunder project that will allow us to purchase the food we need / help us with storage costs.
Thanks so much for all your support at this time of need.

We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
