Brackla RFC match day container

Aim

We want to buy and install a container and fit it out for use on match day for our mini, juniors and seniors rugby teams to have a base.

Who are we?

We are Brackla RFC. Currently our seniors are in Div 5 east central in the WRU national leagues. Our brand new under 7 group nicknamed the Mini Magpies are a mix of girls and boys from within the local community just starting their rugby journey.

Community impact

The club over the years has ever increased its engagement within the community and with the help of social media advertising matchdays have been more widely attended by local residents that are perhaps not rugby minded but enjoy coming down and supporting where they are from.

The Mini Magpies have got off to a great start holding an Easter Fun day where children of all abilities attended and were rewarded with an Easter egg for their efforts.

We plan to have more Fun Events for target age groups boys and girls as the club continues to grow within the community.

Its is hoped that the project could also support any other groups that use the fields.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We are crowdfunding as we know the people that follow the club regularly ask how they can support us! The project is to benefit many people straight away and in the future. 

Any help is appreciated to establish a nice match day facility for our club to go forwards.

Players subs are easily consumed on training facilities and match days. We are also trying to build our Mini Magpies section with  a free introduction to rugby.
We have some great sponsors and supporters already we just want to reach out for a little help.  

How we’ll spend the money raised

The money will initially be spent on the purchase of a brand new shipping container. This will include delivery and placement. 

We then want to disguise the cold steel with a timber surround and kit the inside out with a Kitchen and seating area. The vision is for the whole club Mini and senior section to have a turn key oppurtunity for the club to generate small income from sales of teas, coffees etc also to Feed our away teams when they come to visit and play.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
