Our Story...

BPR was formed 21 years ago when a group of then 15-year old mates wanted to play football together. That team is still going strong and some of the original founder members are still playing (just!).

In those 21 years, there have been 10 trophies, 1 league title and over 300 players. While trophies are nice, the greatest reward has been building a family amongst friends.

To keep the spirit of BPR alive, we've started U15's & U18's Youth Teams (with an U14's on the way) with the aim to provide the next generation with the same unforgettable experiences we had. This wouldn't be possible without the kind donations from the BPR community so get involved and come join us on June 10th!

Why are we crowdfunding?

A few years ago, the journey began again with a new U14 team. That team played almost a full season before interruption by the COVID-19 crisis. Despite this, BPR came back stronger than ever and this year has been more successful than ever for the U18's & U15's. We saw first hand the impact lockdown had on the mental and physical well-being of young players and we are determined to play as much football as we can!

As we approach the end of the 22/23 season we're putting together plans for a new U14's team and with the support of BPR community we're hopeful we can make this another huge success!

How we’ll spend the money raised

All money raised will go directly to the running of both the U15's & U18's teams (and launching the new U14's team). We need to fund the following:

  • Bursaries for those who are unable to cover their subs
  • Equipment for 2023/24 training (goals, balls, nets, weekend pitch hire)
  • Hire of a floodlit pitch facility for weekly winter training next season for our U15 & U18 squad
  • A new kit for the U15 team for next season
  • 2 X FA training courses.
  • A team tracksuit for the boys.

We believe no-one should be priced out of football!

How you can play your part

1. Donate to our CrowdFunder Page

2. Come join us on the 10th

That's it!

Looking forward to seeing you all for a day of sunshine, football and good times!
